Central Square Florist is a fourth generation family florist located in Central Square, Cambridge. We have been serving the Boston area since 1929. We are a busy, fast paced floral shop seeking a reliable and experienced floral worker enthusiastic to join our team!

Job Responsibilities: 
• Speak clearly and confidently while taking orders via phone 
• Typing in orders into a POS system/handling cash and credit cards
• Setting up displays
• Waiting on customers -- creating a personalized shopping experience for customers. Recommending, selecting, and putting together flowers for the customer 
• Processing flowers
• Watering plants/housekeeping duties

Candidate Attributes:
• Previous experience in a retail florist 
• Computer literate 
• Self motivated, enthusiastic 
• Ability to lift 30 pounds 
• Personable and engaging with customers 
• Floral design ability is a bonus and makes candidate more desirable
