Couple of Common questions we get asked.

This past Valentine’s Day week we fielded a couple of question many times. One question was "are you a true local florist?". The answer is we definitely are Central Square Florist has been for over 75 years located in Downtown Cambridge in the middle of HarvardMIT and the many companies that call Cambridge home such as NovartisBiogen IdecForrester Research and Genzyme. It was great to hear that many customers insisted on dealing with a local florist. It’s getting harder for most consumers to tell with so many out of state companies trying to look like a local company. If you see no address provided on a company’s web site and no about us information you can be sure they are not a local company. You can read more here.

The next frequent question was "do the flowers come in a vase?". The answer is yes they do. Flowers are professionally designed as pictured on web site and delivered with no assembly needed. These are not do it yourself kits. Unlike so many national companies, our flowers are never left on a doorstep in below freezing temperatures. We do not show deceiving pictures to confuse the buying public to think they are getting arranged flowers. Those companies are being deluged with complaints about quality issue this holiday. Five days after the largest floral holiday Central Square Florist has yet to have a quality complaint.
