There are so many worthwhile traditions to participate in during the holiday season, but one of the most popular among groups is Secret Santa. This gift swap works best the more people you have, which is why it's the perfect workplace game. Not only does it ensure that everyone gets a present (and without breaking the bank, since most gift swaps use a price cap), but it brings together the whole team for a fun hour or two where presents and givers are revealed.
Central Square Florist is no stranger to gift exchange - it's a huge part of the business we're in, after all. And we're here to help you offer your lucky recipient something fresh, seasonal and utterly unique. Read More about A Secret Santa Gift They’ll All Want »

Ready to make your workplace really sparkle this holiday season, but not sure where to start?
You're not alone. While you may have plenty of boxed-up decor to pull from the back office, it's not always easy to decorate our workplaces for the holidays. Unlike a home, a commercial space is often large, with lots of vertical space and furniture that can't be moved on a whim. A business has to think about clients and customers as well as its coworkers when it comes to a decorating effort. And yet, when we come together as a team to deck our workplace halls, it can be one of the most fun days spent with our colleagues all year. If you've been tapped to host Thanksgiving this year, you already know you've got your work cut out for you. It can be a total joy to bring everyone together in your home, but it's no easy feat. One of the main considerations you have is where to put everybody who does come, whether you have to add chairs to your dining room set-up from the kitchen or improvise a kid's table to the side. We think it's the food that requires the most effort, but in many cases, it's the dining logistics.
At Central Square Florist, we believe that crowning your Thanksgiving table with a stellar centerpiece is the most fun part of organizing it. Read More about Harvest Your Thanksgiving Table »
Our town doesn't skimp when it comes to celebrating Veterans Day. The Boston area has a dozen celebrations and ceremonies on the calendar this year, which makes us at Central Square Florist very proud. We've been honoring those who served in our U.S. military in one form or another since 1919, when Veterans Day was known as "Armistice Day" and centered on commemorating the end of WWI the year before. As it evolved into what it is today, so did the tributes. We have parades, observances and even 5Ks devoted to honoring our most important patriots.
But the fanfare can also come in the form of a bouquet of patriotic flowers, something meaningful, respectful and intended to bring happiness to the worthy recipient. Read More about Patriotic Flowers for Veterans Day »
