My friends bought a dozen and a half roses for me from Central Square Florist on 1/14 to give to me after my concert at Symphony Hall.  The roses were simply stunning, of such great quality, and they lasted so incredibly long that I had to seek out the florist where they were purchased to thank you.  My friends said when they picked up the roses, the florist was meticulous about packaging them so that they wouldn't get damaged in the trip to Boston, or in the very cold weather that day.  While I've received roses before, never have I received 18 at once, and never have 18 roses been so stunning.  They almost looked like silk flowers because they were so perfect.  What a fantastic, unexpected gift to celebrate my performance, a reminder every day when I'd come see them in the house of a special event and very special friends...and a fantastic florist that I'd never heard of before.  Thank you!  I've asked my friends and family what I need to do to warrant another 18 roses from Central Square Florist.  I'd even settle for 12.  :-)  Thank you again for providing such quality flowers for my special day.  Wishing Norwood (where we live) wasn't so far from your shop. Just wanted to say thank you for amazing arrangement.  I’m depressingly used to ordering flowers online based on a description and images from a web site and having the recipient get a bunch of scrawny half-dead stems that look nothing like what I’d hoped they would receive.  This experience has been completely different.  Brandy and I work in the same office so I was able to see the arrangement you sent over this morning, and if anything it’s even better than I’d expected based on the web site.  Central Square Florist is my new go-to source for floral arrangements in this area.  Count me as one very impressed new customer, and thanks again. I usually order flowers from here for work and I've only heard great things! I rarely get to see the flowers in person though because I usually just place the order based off the pic from the site ( Brave I know). This particular time I wanted to place a personal order for a friend of mine celebrating a birthday with an all white themed dinner that i couldn't attend at Smith and Wollensky. I was on a tight budget but wanted to make sure i had an all white flower arrangement delivered to the restaurant for her. I didn't see anything that i loved and that fit in my budget on the site so i called the store. Jackie, was soooooooo helpful and honest. I told her exactly what i wanted ( a tall all white arrangement with hydrangeas included) and the budget i was working with and she made it work. My friend LOVED her flowers and sent me a video of the AMAZING arrangement. I can't thank Jackie enough for making this special floral arrangement. I have sent "doggy bouquets" twice and both times you delivered EXACTLY what I ordered in an amazingly short time! This is RARE I am finding, as I have had to order flowers by phone or online to areas to which you are unable to deliver, and have been disappointed more times than I would care to discuss! So often florists deliver products totally unlike what was ordered, and their service is disappointing. Flowers can be very special when delivered as ordered, but seem irrelevant when special attention is not paid to what is actually ordered, and they are expensive. I recently had need for a balloon arrangement to be delivered to a friend in the ICU at Brigham and Women's hospital, so after a Google search I tried Central Square Florist. The person I spoke to was so kind and helpful while helping me choose what to send, so a week later when my friend was still there, I called Central Square florist to have them send some more. They were so quick taking my order, and super fast in delivery as well. I had another need for some sympathy flowers to be delivered just this past week, so of course I called them again. The person I spoke to was again kind, helpful, professional and compassionate on the phone, which is not something one runs across every day. The flowers that were delivered were of superior quality and design to all of the other arrangements that were at the service. They were just beautiful. I received the the most beautiful flower arrangement while at the Newton Wellesley Hospital at the beginning of this week. At 72 years of age, I have received and given many flower arrangements. This one sent by my grandkids and their mom and dad (Alicia David, Bow, NH) were spectacular. The white puppy dog flowers made me and everyone who came into my room smile. Central Square Florist really does deserve every one of the glowing reviews. We had a rotten situation over our messed up order with another local florist. We don't live in Boston, and had wanted a particular arrangement for our student son's 21st birthday. The first firm we'd picked turned out to be a disaster, after accepting our order. So after checking out all the reviews (should have done that with the first firm!), I contacted Central Square Florist in a panic - and explained that we'd been let down by another firm - just before a public holiday -with time running out. David at Central Square Florist took everything in his stride. He reproduced our special order perfectly, phoned us to double check details, had no problem with any picky details - didn't charge any extra for all the hassle, and got it delivered - I've seen my son's photos - perfectly, and perfectly on time. Phenomenal same day service and a unique flower/balloon arrangement in a car-shaped vase that my nephew just loved.
