Fragrant Flowers To Pretend It’s Spring

How much does Central Square Florist love a fragrant garden? Let us count the ways.

But outside of spring and summer, we’ve got to bring that garden into our spaces ourselves, and the best way to do that according to us is through a garden-inspired floral design. We’re not talking about something that is merely beautiful and makes use of the blooms you might see populating a successful spring garden bed. We’re talking about something that is fragrant.

We’re emphasizing fragrance because we think that floral design must consider how flowers smell in combination with each other. While it’s true not every flower is created equal when it comes to scent, every single one does offer one, even if we might use words like “fresh” and “green” to describe it. When we design, we consider how different blooms look together, but we also consider what enchanting fragrance they will emanate through space, as well as how powerful it will be. You’ll see with our Garden Beauty that the visual appeal is on point. We wish you could smell how the fragrance appeal is too.

Roses, hyacinth, orchids . . . All of the most glorious flowers conspire here to not only look gorgeous but to smell that way too, literally perfuming the air with their essence. Even beautiful flowers in a vase can’t make it spring, but they can sure try.
