You really don’t need one, but if you think you do, here are some calendar events in March to celebrate with flowers and plants. Central Square Florist has compiled a listing of events for you!

Irish-American Heritage Month  is declared by a special proclamation by the President of the United States or Congress to celebrate the achievements of Irish immigrants and their descendents . Celebrate by gifting a lasting,healthy green plant  to enhance the decor of the recipient’s home.

       March is Women’s History Month. We celebrate women’s contributions to history,culture and society. Honor a special woman with a bouquet of roses!
       On the 8th of March,celebrate Mardi Gras madness with a large,colorful bouquet . Bring a little Bourbon Street and French Quarter of New Orleans home.

        We’ll be springing ahead the second Sunday of March, the 13th as daylight savings time starts. Compensate the loss of an hour’s sleep by waking up to a vase of daffodils on your nightstand. Could there be anything cheerier?
         Think green on  the 17th of March . Join the Irish to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with green carnations,hydrangeas and shamrocks. What fun for all!
         Spring at last on March 20th. Central  Square Florist will be at their blooming best on this day.

          March 30th is National Doctor’s day. Surprise your favorite doctor with a bouquet of red carnations, the symbolic flower for National Doctor’s Day.
