Summer BAHsh Cambridge Chamber Event at Google

Last Wednesday we attended the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce Summer BAHsh at Google in Kendall Square. The event was well attended and the food was delicious! We saw many familiar faces and also met many new people.

Google has an AMAZING office space at 355 Main Street in the heart of Kendall Square. When you arrive at the building and take the elevators up to Google’s main reception on the fifth floor it is as if you just got off onto the MBTA Red Line. The walls are painted to look like the subway station and the stop is labeled Kendall. Pictures of what this looks like are at the end of this post!

We provided the flowers for the check-in table in the lobby of the building. Since the theme of the party was “summer” we created a summery bouquet with a tropical feel. For tropicals, it featured birds of paradise and a few different types of orchids. The bouquet also featured roses, sunflowers, lilies and delphinium. At the end of the event, the bouquet was given away to a lucky attendee.

The Summer BAHsh was well attended. We saw familiar faces from many of our neighbors here in Central Square.Cambridge Savings Bank and Eastern Bank were in attendance. Mmmmaven (our fellow finalist in Cambridge Small Business of the Year) and HMFH Architects to name a few.

We frequently deliver to the residences at 1008 Massachusetts Avenue. Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty is located here is well. We met Dino from Gibson at the Chamber event.

Other attendees included CPI group, Cristina from Hult International school in East Cambridge and MIT.

Laura Kowalski, the director of sales from the Fairfield Inn, a new hotel in East Cambridge, attended. The Fairfield Inn & Suites was the winner from the Excellence in Business Awards ‘New Member of the Year’ category.

Looking forward to attending the Schmooze Cruize at Charles Riverboat Company in August!
