A Bouquet For The Super Ladies

This May 6 through May 12, two incredibly important fields are celebrated, nursing and teaching. More importantly, the people who embody those roles (primarily women) will be honored for their tireless efforts on behalf of so many. These are the super ladies who educate, inspire, nurture and otherwise empower the rest of us, and Central Square Florist has got the perfect flowers with which to show your appreciation to them.

We think ourĀ Freesia Blooms make the perfect gesture this week, and here’s why: they smell like candy. They’re bright and happy, an idyllic spring bundle. They’re gorgeous to look at. Enough said? Freesia is one of those flowers that you don’t often give or get, given the fact that they aren’t readily available. But backed by soft green, they make a lush, light bouquet, ideal for posing on a desk or springing up the home.

Our teachers and nurses deserve our credit all year long, but during this week, make your appreciation manifest through flowers. Add a nice card, a bottle of wine and a personal thank you, and you’ll be ensuring that the wonder women in your life feel loved.
