This picture was passed on to us recently. I believe the picture was taken in the 1950’s. Central Square Florist was located at 603 Massachusetts Ave by Essex Street at the time of the picture. Interesting to see old style Metal Buckets out front that have been replaced by plastic now. Super Cuts is now at that address. Central Square Florist now resides near Prospect Street at 653 Massachusetts Ave. Libby’s Liquors is the only other store still located in Central Square from the picture. It is now located a few doors down towards MIT.
