Spathiphyllum Plant- Make it part of your collection

Spathiphyllum plant- make it part of your collection! As the end of summer nears, it’s a good time to start thinking about your indoor plant display. The Spathiphyllum plant, also known as the Peace Lily, produces a white bloom known as a Spathe and has lush, dark green leaves. The most common pot sizes are 4″, 6″.8″, and 10″. The plant prefers a low-light location. The soil should be moist and not allowed to dry out. If you see your plant is all drooped over it is a sign of under-watering or you missed a watering. Give the plant a nice drink so water comes out the bottom of the pot and you will see your plant pop back up. A room temperature of 65-70 degrees is ideal, avoiding an excessively hot or cold area. Spathiphyllum cleans indoor air of many environmental contaminants, including benzene, formaldehyde, and other pollutants. The Spathiphyllum is native to tropical areas of the Americans and southeast Asia.

The Spathiphyllum is an ideal plant to gives as a gift. It is a low-maintenance plant. At Central Square Florist, people send it for many occasions such as Birthday, Get Well, new Office and an expression of Sympathy.
